2. Precautions:

The use of nitrocellulose and epoxy resins should be prevented. Because both will chemically react with copper to form a gelatinous substance; If these two resins must be used, they should be used as soon as possible. Whenever possible, a resin with a low acid number (less than 3) should be used, and the lower the acid number of the resin system, the better. Aromatic hydrocarbon and ester solvents help to make copper and gold powder particles completely wetted and achieve abundant dispersion, should prevent the use of alcohol and ketone solvents and incomplete acidification of lipid solvents must use high-purity resins and solvents (low water content), if it contains a small amount of water, it is recommended to use molecular sieves to remove the water before participating in copper and gold powder pigments.
